As I mentioned before, I get all crazy about snow days. Today did not disappoint me at all. We took Abby for her 1 year check up at 8:30 this morning. While we were there, we were able to get RJ a flu shot. Both kids did great with their shots. Abby is 29 3/4 inches long(64th %) and weighs 20 pounds (36th%...She seems chubbier than that to me). When we got home, Abby took a long nap to sleep off the shots. Then, RJ made a beautiful Christmas painting. He loved doing the hand prints. After that he watched the old classic "Santa Claus is coming to Town" or as he calls it "santa video." When Ryan went down for a nap, Abby and I prepared a pot roast for dinner. Soon after that, Abby and I fell asleep together while snuggling in the basement chair (it doesn't get any better than that!) When it was time to get Harrison and Carter, Joe very kindly volunteered to get them because the roads were still pretty bad. When they got here, we drank hot chocolate with marshmallows and played. I know I won't be thrilled in June, but I had a PERFECT day!!
