I LOVE APPLE PICKING! I look forward to it every year. Joe has grown to love it, too. The kids are so adorable. We may even go back in a couple of weeks because we all love it so much!

Our New Favorite Place....THE CLUB!
A couple of weeks ago we got a family membership to a local health club. Joe and I are using it to get back in shape and the kids love going there to "play." They also LOVE the big swimming pool.
Ryan's new favorite hobby is raquetball. He is actually pretty good at it. In the picture below, he hit that ball that is hitting the wall.
Abby is super cute...she justs runs around!
After raquetball, we moved to the volleyball/basketball court. Abby isn't very interested in basketball so we posed together.

Ryan decided to take a turn playing "volleyball judge"
Ryan is also very good at basketball. He has to use the light ball to reach the 10 foot hoop.
The club also has a PARK! Yeah! The kids and I played at the park while Joe was in running on the treadmill.

In the picture below, Ryan is telling me, "No more pictures mom"
After raquetball, basketball, swimming and the park, the kids decide to take a breather.

Pictures From the ER
Here are a few pictures of Ryan's swollen face from the ER visit that Jess blogged about a few weeks back. He looked terrible, but he was breathing fine and he wasn't complaining of pain or anything, so hopefully it looked worse than it was.

They prescribed a steroid for a couple days to reduce the swelling. They told us that it might make him a little hyper. They also told us to keep up with the Benadryl. What they didn't tell us was that the drowsy side effect of the Benadryl would be a nice way to counter-act the hyper side effect of the steroid. He acted normal for a few days, so we stopped the Benadryl and continued with the steroid. Oops. RJ went cuckoo. Not bad cuckoo, funny cuckoo. Bouncing off the walls, unlimited, superhuman energy like nothing I've ever seen before. Usually he gets cranky if he doesn't have a minimum 2 hour nap. Not only did he skip his nap that day, but he was as happy and wild as I've ever seen him straight through until bedtime.
My son has tried to do summersaults before, but never very successfully. At one point in the afternoon we took him outside to let him run around and burn off some of his energy. We were in stitches as we watched RJ perform about 40 running, tumbling summersaults, one right after another. I still don't understand how he did it.
