Sesame Street Live!

On Sunday evening, we tagged along with Amy and Parker to see Sesame Street Live. The kids LOVED it. Ryan only lasted about 30-45 minutes before he wanted to walk up and down the stairs and drink out of the water fountain. Abby, however, could have sat there forever. When we ask Ryan about Sesame Street Live he says, "Elmo made sing noise." Then he ALWAYS adds, "I had fun with Parker." TOO SWEET!

Look at those faces! ADORABLE!

Abby was decked out in her Elmo shirt.

Amy and Parker enjoy the show!

Playing Outside!

We decided to take the kids outside to play and get them a little fresh air. Ryan has been all about basketball lately (we have taken him to a few of Harrison's games and a LMS game). When we are at the games, he dives all over the floor pretending to save the ball. He also imitates the players, refs, coaches and scoreboard (yes, he makes a loud buzzing sound...oh, and the whistle, too).
He Shoots....

...he scores! YEAH!
Here is your basketball player, PAPA! :)
(Harrison is well on his way to basketball stardom....he asked Kendra if she thought he would be able to dunk a basketball by high shool. His mean mother squashed his dreams and told him he will never be able to dunk a basketball).
Abby, on the other hand, cannot get enough of her new mittens! Kendra can't believe how much she loves them....what kid is psyched to put on mittens? Abby is just too funny. She has been saying new words everyday. I don't have any idea where she gets the "gift of gab" from. :) Actually, I am just bummed that I now have competition...she's much cuter so she will get the attention every time :)

One More Thing....

..I forgot to mention that Abby was the hit of the Emergency Room. The nurses could not believe she can talk. It all started when she showed one nurse her Elmo book and said "mel-mo"! All the nurses were called over and we showed off all her tricks. She said, "Elmo, sock, hat and feet" for the nurses. They kept making her repeat Elmo though because it is so damn cute!

Good Thing Abby Doesn't Play Baseball!

When Ryan heard about Abby's steriod use, he quickly turned on the news to see if she is going to be investigated by Congress.

Abby's Trip to the ER!

Well, this morning I called in sick to work and Abby and I went to the Emergency Room. She has croup! Both she and Ryan have had it before, but this time it was obvious that Abby was having a hard time breathing. I could see her gasping and not being able to take in enough air. At the E.R. they monitored her blood oxygen level and decided she needed to be treated. They gave her a steriod to reduce the swelling in her throat and had me hold cool mist to her face (She was not too fond of that :) ). She is much better now and has been sleeping for a couple hours. Joe had to hold her upright all night because as soon as she was layed down she couldn't breathe. Based on how tired Abby is, I don't think either got much sleep!

Time to Brush your Teeth!

Every night after bath, the kids get very excited to brush their teeth. Ryan yells, "Time to Brush Teeth! Follow Ryan Abby" and Abby just keeps repeating "teeth, teeth, teeth" as they run from "their" bathroom into the master bath. Then, they sit on Ryan's potty (at least it is good for something :) and brush their teeth together. Joe captured the sweet moment earlier this week.

Abby still closes her eyes when the flash goes off.

Snow Day!!!

Cup Cake FACES!!

Abby's new thing is to pick up as many pieces of one particular item and carry them around. This time it is fish from the fishing game Maddie bought us. He favorite is to carry diapers around.

This is why I am glad I only had one boy. Boys encourage each other to do naughty things...Although, I guess Kendra and I did get into our share of trouble together and we are girls.

Bye, Bye Abby!

Ryan decided it was time to mop the floor! I think we might be ready for the "chore chart" that Joe says my name will be on, too. :(

Weekend!

The dress up pictures are the only pictures I have from this weekend...bummer! We had a busy weekend and Ryan and I made more cupcakes on Sunday. He is such a cute little chef! I can't believe how much he enjoys it....but he still won't eat anything he cooks (except the cupcakes)!

Playing Dress-up with Abby!

Abby was not thrilled with my attempt to make her a little mini-mouse. I thought she would twirl around and think about how magical she looked....instead, she cried and tugged on the dress. Once she got her toothbrush, she could deal with the dress, but she really did not enjoy it! I don't think she is going to be a girly girl! Oh well! She still looks cute!

She kept calling the Mini ears "hat" and ripping it off! She only has one year to get used to them! :0)

Rj's Funny!

Ryan's new favorite show is "The Singing Bee" with Joey Fatone. Well, at the end, a person can win $50,000 and the confetti flies. Twice today we went into his room to find his fish food EVERYWHERE! This last time I heard him yelling, "$50 dollars!" He must have been playing singing bee and used the fish food as his confetti. I told him that was some pretty stinky confetti!!

Random cute pics from this week.

Casserole Crazy!

Joe had a brunch to go to today so RJ took the opportunity to make some casseroles to freeze while Abby was taking her nap. We made Baked Ziti, Macaroni and Cheese, and Chicken noodle Casserole. I thought it was it was such a great idea because Ryan LOVES to help cook. Well, you can see what happened!

RJ stirs the Ziti

Half way through the Macaroni and Cheese RJ got bored! It ended with BUBBLES EVERYWHERE! Good thing Joe wasn't home..we had it all cleaned up before he got home.

When Abby got up from her nap she thought it was a good idea to organinze the cabinet.
