Christmas Card Picture

When you get our Christmas picture, just remember it is not easy with two toddlers to take a good picture. Here is a small sampling of the many pictures we took. We tried to bribe them with everything. The photo shoot ended with RJ tackling his sister.

Thank You David!!

My friend Karen from college has a son that is 3 weeks older than Ryan (I posted cookout pictures this past summer). Anyway, he sent Abby this puzzle for her birthday and she LOVES it. I was so impressed that she actually got the magnet concept and can "catch" the bugs all by herself!!!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday....I LOVE TURKEY DINNER!! We had a fantastic weekend.
Ryan helped me make the sweet potatoes and he ate the apples instead of putting them in the bowl.

Abby and Ryan search for on-line deals.

Grandma and Papa joined us for dinner and played after!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABIGAIL!!!

Here are some pics taken this morning....ABBY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY! She had no interest in the photo shoot she just wanted to take the barrette out of her hair and eat it....typical Abby! Since we had her party on Sat, there are no big birthday plans at home. Abby will have cake with her friends at Claire's house today. Ryan picked out Dora plates, hats, and noise makers for the party! I can't believe my little girl is 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abby's First Birthday Party!

I can't believe our little pumpkin will be one on Wednesday! We had her birthday party yesterday. I think the older kids had more fun with her new toys that she did, but at least they were entertained. None of the parents (except my dear friend Amy) were too psyched with the idea of glitter pumpkins, but they were all good sports about it. We did notice that Uncle Gary "accidently" left Zach's here. We will have to make another one the next time we get together to make up for it....and this time it will be at your house :).

Posing for Pics before the Party!

Carter helps Abby with her present!

The girls! I posted a picture of these 3 at RJ's birthday 5 months ago. Adorable

RJ and Carter help Abby blow out her candle.

She did not dive into her cake like I thought she would. I think she was getting tired.

RJ Update

He is back to himself!! The orthopedic doctor gave us the option of casting it (he discouraged us from doing it) and we decided to let RJ try to walk on his own. Soon after the splint was removed he would limp around. Now he is running again! He does favor it, but it seems to be ok.

Ryan's Boo-Boo!

Well, we spent last night in the emergency room at Elliot Hospital. Ryan tripped over Joe's leg and injured his foot. When he couldn't stop crying and couldn't put any weight on it, we took him to the ER.

Injury Report: Ryan Guerrette is doubtful for this week's game! :(

They did not see any obvious breaks on the xray, but they also told us a hundred times that that is not uncommon for a kid his age. Xray's are not accurate because of the developing bones. They said he is too young to "fake it" and that kids will usually try to walk or weight bear unless they are in a lot of pain. Poor baby. They put on a splint and ace bandage and we have to follow up with orthopedics on Friday. If it is not better, they may opt to put a real cast on him.

I asked him if he was trying to take attention away from Abby's birthday party this weekend.

Speaking of Abby....I think she heard it was election night in Manchester because she spent the whole time parading around the emergency room campaigning for Mayor. What a busy-body! She tried to get into everybody's business. People couldn't believe she isn't even a year old because she was literally booking it around. Next time, one of us will stay home with her :)

TRICK OR TREAT!!!!

What a fun holiday!!! When Claire, RJ and Abby's babysitter, said Ryan refused to wear his costume all day, I thought we were in trouble. As soon as he saw the other trick or treaters, however, he was game. The plan was that I would stay home and hand out candy and Joe would take the kids out with friends of ours. Well, when the Michauds arrived, I could not stay behind....I didn't want to miss the kids parading from door to door. It was very cute. I loved that they were both chickens!!

Abby's 1st Halloween!

What a surprise! Abby and Ryan got into the candy before trick or treat.

Candy Mommy?

Joe is very excited!

A Week Full of Cute Faces!

We had a very busy, but very fun week!!! Here are some of the highlights.

RJ loves his new pj's!! He thinks he is so cool!
