Cool Glasses!

These are Joe's glasses from 1992. I have been trying to convince him to get new ones for years, but he refuses!

Charmingfare Farm!!

What a difference a few months makes!!! I brought RJ to Charmingfare in May and he HATED it (he was scared to death of the goats)! We finally went back today ( have been trying to go all summer, but it hasn't worked out) and Ryan had a blast feeding the animals! It was a very hot day, however, and the flies were unbearable! GROSS! Ryan did bang his face on a little play pirate ship and bled all over my white shirt! He recovered well though! Also, a big reindeer bit his fingers, and a swan hissed at him. He had a pretty rough day, but he did think the hissing swan was hysterical! Ryan was doing a great job repeating the names of all the animals after Harrison said them. The only one that he got stuck on was wolverine. We had a great time!
What a crew! At least Harrison and Abby can behave.

Ryan fed Santa's reindeer... this is not the one that bit him! His Auntie had to show him how to feed the animals; at first he was trying to give them one piece of food at a time.

Ryan loves goats!

Abby decided to have snacktime ...what a surprise! Hehe!

Ryan's First Kiss!!

We are going to have to keep our eyes on these two!! This is right after I caught them kissing in a little house at Story Land. Ryan has the Marsha Brady look after she was kissed by Davy Jones. "I'll never wash this cheek again!"
By the next afternoon, they were no longer sneaking around!

Story Land

Well, the big trip to Story Land was a success!! Unfortunately, I have way too many cute pictures that I can't post them all...I will give you a sampling! We couldn't have had a better time; the trip was even more fun than I thought it would be (who would have even thought that was possible)!! We went to Story Land Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. It is such a great place and THE KIDS HAD A BLAST!!! I can't even tell you what a thrill the adults got watching the joy in the kids' faces! It was a trip I will never forget! Joe even agreed to go to a real restaurant Tues. night so we took the kids to Applebee's for dinner. All five kids were fantastic!! We thought that Ryan would be the one who had difficulty sleeping in a strange place, but it was actually Abby. Ryan slept very well! I can't wait to do it again!! Tried to get the Lamora's to commit to Sesame Place next summer but Gary said, "We're thinking about Hershey Park!" We get the hint! (J.K. Gary)

Gary is very excited to get the vacation started! (Sorry ladies, he is married)

Ryan is just like his Mama! He LOVED the hotel! Here they are playing ball!
Too cute!!

The kids and I sit with Humpty Dumpty

Ryan and Abby both LOVED the ball pits!!

Abby smiled and laughed the entire train ride!

Look at his face!! He seriously had the time of his life!

Ryan and Joe on the flying shoe!

There was one place that was just full of balls. Kids could shoot them or suck them up in big vacuums. The kids loved it.
Here Gary is aiming at us (I don't know that random girl in the pic)!

Gary, Joe, Ryan, Jaclyn and Zach play in the balls!

Abby joined the fun!

Ryan and Zach wait for lunch! So cute!! I wish we had pictures of the kids at dinner Tues. night! Ryan and Zach sat next to each other and Abby and Jaclyn sat together!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO adorable!

Absentee Mother and No Pictures

Joe deserves a gold star for taking the kids while I have a weekend full of plans...he just needs to take pictures so I can document their fun in my blog. Last night I met my friend Karen at a scrapbooking store, and I participated in my first crop night. It goes from 6 to 12 and I thought there was no way I was going to make it until midnight (the night before Abby was up from 2:45 AM until 4:30. She was sweet as pie; she just wanted to hang out with her mama...I mean, who can blame her!). Anyway, I didn't get home until around midnight, and I was paying for it this this morning when the kids were up at 5:45. I had an appointment this morning to get my hair cut and colored, which takes about 2.5 hours. Busy, busy! Tomorrow morning I am going to a jewelry party at Amy's house. It is amazing that the household can survive without me. HEHE!

The kids and I went to Toys R Us today to buy a carseat! Abby starts at Claires on Monday as I try to get my classroom organized! We bought everything but a carseat...typical! I had to tell Ryan that we were going to Wal-Mart to get him in the car...he may look like Joe, but some things about him are soooooo me! I can't believe my summer is almost over. I think the kids sense that something is up because they have been super cuddly lately. Ryan is not a
"cuddler" but has spent a lot of time just sitting on my lap and cuddling me. I LOVE IT!! Abby has always been a love bug, but she has been even more of a "mama's girl" the last few days. I am so glad to have Claire...I know Abby is going to love it (although Ryan is probably going to be a little irritated that his little sister is tagging along with him and his friends).

That's all for now! I did take some bedtime pictures tonight, but they were just Abby stealing RJ's milk and Binky. Same old, same old. The photo shoot was cut short when big bad Daddy scolded Ryan and me for causing too much of a ruckus and mumbling about how Ryan had to go to bed because he wasn't getting proper wind down time with me (Kendra and Derrick used to get the same speech from my mother when I would stay up past 9 to play games with them...when I was EIGHTEEN!) Will try to get pictures tomorrow...If not I will definitely have a story land post. YIIPPEE!!!

Joe says my Kathie Lee posts are embarrassing! Sorry honey, but you knew how much I love her before you married me!!

Happy Birthday Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford!

They have the same birthday (13 years apart)! Kathie Lee is 55 and Frank is 78! Yikes!

Bedtime with Ryan and Abby!

Well, this whole photo shoot started because I wanted to get a picture of Abby in her "big girl" jammies! Can you believe they are size 18 months? Anyway, I got some good shots of what bedtime is like in the Guerrette household. It is not what my mom refers to as "wind down time." Instead, it is Abby causing trouble and Ryan singing to his favorite shows!

Ryan likes Joey Fatone's new show "Singing Bee." He grooves and sings to the music.
I don't know what this pose is all about!

First Abby steals Ryan's milk

THen, she gets one of his binkies and she is very excited! The fan is blowing her hair.

Then, she gets both his binkies and he decides it's time to "fight back"

6 DAYS UNTIL STORY LAND....

...AND JOE CAN'T WAIT!!!

This picture was actually taken 3 years ago in Savannah, Georgia!

Butterflies!

I don't know what kind of flowers these are, but they really attract butterflies! Ryan loves butterflies, and he chases them around the yard. Very Cute!!

Abby gets her Own Chair & RJ's Proud of New Sneakers!

Abby wouldn't leave Ryan alone so we decided to buy her her own chair. Of course, she still wants to climb into Ryan's chair! Oh well!

Ryan has been strutting around all weekend in his new sneakers. When I picked him up from Claire's today, he was showing them to all the other parents!

Cute Pictures from Boston's Children's Museum

For those of you who don't visit Kendra's blog...

...here is Ryan at the Children's Museum in Boston!! I couldn't help but steal this picture from her!!

She is trouble!!!

What a look! She gives us a run for our money. Forget the teenage years, she already likes to get into trouble!!
