Joe just heard that the Celtics are getting Kevin Garnett!

DADDY SAID YES...AGAIN!!

The best thing that happened today is that Joe agreed to go to STORYLAND!!! The Lamora's asked if we wanted to tag along on their vacation to Storyland. At first, Joe said no because he is very busy at work. After some negotiations, I got him to change his mind. To get him to agree to go, I cannot buy scrapbooking products for a month, I have to wash the kitchen floor once a week, and I have to remove all the scrapbooking piles from our bedroom! He drives a hard bargain...I'm scared about what the Disney negotiations are going to be like! We're going the week before I have to go back to work. It will be a nice end of the summer outing for the family! YEAH DADDY!!!!!

My Two Happy Boys!

My mom always has M&M's at her house and Harrison and Carter know they get a cup full when it is time to leave (and sometimes during the visit if they are good). She started this with Harrison, and now Ryan is old enough to join in the fun! Anyway, he had M&M's at Grandma's yesterday, and he LOVED them! We bought him some, and now all we hear is "more candy." Look at his face!

I bought Joe a golf club off ebay! He went golfing with Gary Russell last week and loved this club Gary had. I got him the identical club online. When it came, I asked him if he wanted to go to the driving range to try it out. His response, "I don't need to. I already know I can kill the ball with this club." He is very excited because it is going to "shave so many strokes" off his game! Let's all keep our fingers crossed that it wasn't "beginners luck" because he has very high hopes! LOOK OUT TIGER, JOE'S GOT A NEW CLUB!

Great Day!

We had a very fun, action-packed day! This morning we went to Burlington Mall! I wanted to go to Pottery Barn Kids, so we decided to take the kids to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch. RJ was a bit scared at first, but after a few minutes, he had fun pointing to all the animals (especially the huge butterflies)! The kids napped in the car, and then we played in Tiny Tot Land! It is so great under the porch because even in the rain it isn't really wet.

Ryan loves this playset!! Abby looks on!

Ryan eats M&M's on his new picnic table! Look at the delicious dinner he refused to eat!

Daddy said no more candy and Ryan was sooooo sad!

Ryan tried to negotiate for more candy, but Joe would not give in!

Abby Feeds Herself with a Spoon!

I took a break from feeding Abby for a few minutes to get something for RJ. When I got back to her, she was feeding herself! I couldn't believe it! These pictures were taken on a timer type feature on the camera which takes several consecutive shots with a brief pause in between. She did miss her mouth a few times, but I was still quite impressed!

Welcome to Tiny Tot Land!

Well, we are making progress on our play area! The play area is under our three season porch. We never really used the space for anything, but decided it is a great place for the kids to play out of the hot sun. The Vedrani family gave us the climbing unit about a year ago because Harrison and Carter outgrew it and that was all that was down there. Ryan calls it his "park." Anyway, I still have stuff I want to do to it. I want to make it look more "playroomish" with some paint and whatever else comes to mind! I took these pictures at 8:00 at night after Joe finished putting together the house....the kids were already in bed. Ryan will be begging me to go outside at 6 am tomorrow like he does every morning!

Our new house has arrived!

Look at Ryan's car parked next to his house. CUTE!

FUN FRIDAYS CONTINUED!!!

Okay, so last week's bowling wasn't a big hit, but the fun we had today more than made up for it. First, we went to the Children's Museum in Portsmouth. What a great place!! We had such a great time. Then we went to a state park in New Castle for lunch and a little playtime. Because the park was on the ocean, it wasn't as hot as it was here. This park was fantastic. It had a great play area and a nice beach area.

The boys pose in the giant boat. Harrison and Carter were so good guiding Ryan around!

RJ and Harrison loved this thing. You push it through and see it on the other side.

Arts and crafts time!!!

Abby and RJ play in the toddler area

Ryan loved this computer. He would click the mouse and then pretend to type even though there wasn't a keyboard!

This area made Kendra and me very nervous. We didn't stay here long.

The whole gang!

Ryan did his "Ready, set, go!" and then ran into the water.

Looking for sea creatures!

YUCK!!

Ryan's First Bee Sting!

Poor thing! I'll just say that he didn't do as well as Abby! After he got his binky, Barney, and a few hugs, he was okay!

Little Artist!

Abby was actually trying to color on the pavement with Ryan and me. I don't know if I am more impressed that she got the concept or that she didn't eat the chalk!

PRECIOUS!!

I still LOVE just sitting back and watching them play with each other. SOOOOOO SWEET!

I love his little face!

Playdate!

We had another playdate at Amy's on Wednesday!

We tried to get the kids to pose in their sunglasses, but Ryan kept taking "his" (really mine) off.

Aren't they super cute?

Do you think Abby enjoyed her chocolate cookie?

Ryan and Parker play with the gas pump.

Weekend Fun!

On Saturday, we traveled out to Ludlow, MA to visit my friend Karen from Stonehill. She and her husband, Bill, live in North Carolina, but they come up once a year for a cookout at her parent's house. Karen has a son that is 3 weeks older than Ryan (they were due on the same day, but David was early and RJ was late). We had a great time!

These are pictures of Ryan and David when they were a few months old. We didn't pose them like that...they held hands all on their own. TOO CUTE!

Karen plays with the kids. They were all excited about bubble time!

Here are Ryan and David now! They really didn't play together (typical of this age), but they did have fun sizing each other up. Ryan is wearing my flip flops, one of his new favorite hobbies (good thing I don't wear high heels)! Hehe!

Abby made friends with a three year old named Maggie.

I don't even know what to say about this picture. I'll just leave it at that!

On Sunday, we went to a cookout at the Locke's (long time family friends) house. Ryan LOVED their inground pool (as did Harrison and Carter). I loved the lemon squares that Kendra and Harrison made! YUMMY! Ryan was very sad when the men wouldn't let him join in the traditional basketball game, but he had a great time! Abby always enjoys a crowd...the more people around, the happier she is.

RJ plays while Abby Naps!

Joe got Ryan this car at the swap table at the dump. RJ loves it! The swap table is great place to get toys for the kids.

Ryan was posing for pictures today! It was too cute!

RJ's hand says, "Come on Mom, just take the picture!"
